Phillip Caler was born on July 4, 1993 in Fayetville, Arkansas. In 2004 he moved to Booker, Texas. Phillip attended school in Booker where he was active in many activities; such as football. basket ball, Boy Scouts and Booker FFA. While in Booker FFA he held the office as Chaplain.
Outside of school activities Phillip like to fish and play golf, but it was God and his family and friends that brought him the most joy in life.
Phillip will always be remembered for his love of life and his kind heart and loving spirit.
Phillip passed away on September 29, 2013 at the age of 20 in Perryton, Texas.
Funeral Services will be Thursday October 3, 2013 at 2:30 PM in the Booker High School Auditorium, with Pastor Mike Barnett officiating. Interment will be at Heart Cemetery under the direction of Good Samaritan Funeral Service and Chapel Booker, Texas.
Survivors include: parents Gary and Bianca Caler of the home, and his mother Angie Mann of Louisiana; sisters Kristen and Meagan Caler of the home, Keshia Ramsey of Louisiana, and Corina Triche of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and a brother Jonathan Brice of Duncan, Oklahoma; grandparents Cecil Caler of Custer City, Oklahoma, Elaine Rogers of Huntsville, Arkansas, Donald and Carol Schantz of Thomas, Oklahoma, and Darlene Terry of Duncan, Oklahoma
The family requests memorial donations be made to the International Brain Research Foundation (IBRF) at 227 Rout 206 N Building #2, Suite 101 Flanders, NJ 07836.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday October 1 from 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM, and Wednesday October 2 from 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM on Wednesday October 2.
